Exciting news: it’s the 13-year blog anniversary of the A Lady in London blog today! My blog is a teenager, and I can’t quite believe it.
Blog Anniversary
It feels a bit strange celebrating a travel blog anniversary in a year travel hasn’t been much of a thing. But spending so much time in London has reminded me why I moved here and called the blog A Lady in London in the first place.
It’s been great to revisit a lot of my favorite places in the UK capital and discover some new-to-me areas in and around it. From an Islington walk to a lavender field near London, I’ve loved exploring the city and its surroundings.
New Beginnings
It’s also been a big year for new beginnings. Since the 12-year blog anniversary last summer, I’ve launched a lot of exciting things.
I started with the original A Lady in London tote bag. Then came the new A Lady in London tote bags, which were quickly followed by the whole A Lady in London collection.
It’s been great to see the blog and brand taking physical shape, and fun to see all your photos of the items you have.
Earlier this year I re-launched my YouTube channel, too. I’m amazed by what a positive response my videos have received, and I appreciate all your views, comments, and encouragement.

Future of the A Lady in London Blog
Given how many things I’ve launched since the last blog anniversary, I’m confident the coming year will hold more new ventures.
The state of the travel industry is uncertain, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some adventures, too. I’ll make sure to share them here when they come.
In the meantime, thank you for all your support over the last 13 years. When I set up this blog in San Francisco in 2007 I never imagined it would be more than a casual hobby.
Looking back, it’s amazing how far it’s come. I have you to thank for helping me get to where I am today, and I’m grateful. Here’s to another exciting year ahead!
