Thank you for visiting my blog! If you want to know a bit more about me, I’m a professional travel blogger.

I run an award-winning travel and lifestyle blog, A Lady in London, which I founded in 2007 and turned into a full-time job in 2010. It’s taken me all over London and to 112 countries (and counting!). You can read the full story here.

I also run another blog called California Wayfaring. It’s about great escapes in the Golden State, and it’s a great place to get travel inspiration for the US.

About A Lady in London

Originally from San Francisco, I came to London in 2007 after leaving a career in finance, during which I worked as an analyst for Goldman Sachs and a hedge fund.

Prior to that, I studied International Relations at Brown University and spent my summers working at the US Embassy in Paris and the US Mission to the EU in Brussels.

After 15 years of living in the UK full-time, I started splitting my time between London and California in 2022. Now I get the best of both worlds, and I love it.

Travel Writing and Photography

My travel writing has been featured in National Geographic Intelligent Travel, Lonely Planet, BA High Life, The Telegraph, and other publications.

My photography has been commissioned by Eater and featured in print magazines like Conde Nast Traveler (US) and Ski+board, newspapers like the Financial Times, and exhibitions at institutions like the Leeds College of Art.
