Thank you for visiting my blog! If you want to know a bit more about me, I’m a London-based travel blogger and speaker. I run an award-winning travel and lifestyle blog, A Lady in London, which I founded in 2007 and turned into a full-time job in 2010. It has taken me all over London and to 111 countries (and counting!). You can read the full story here.

Originally from San Francisco, I came to London after leaving a career in finance, during which I worked for Goldman Sachs and a hedge fund. Prior to that, I studied International Relations at Brown University and spent my summers working at the US Embassy in Paris and the US Mission to the EU in Brussels.

My travel writing and recommendations have been featured on National Geographic Intelligent Travel, Lonely Planet, BA High Life, Time Out, Metro, Travel + Leisure, the Evening Standard, The Telegraph, The New York Times, and other leading travel and lifestyle publications.

My photography is regularly commissioned by Eater and has featured in print magazines like Conde Nast Traveler (US) and Ski+board, newspapers like the Financial Times, and exhibitions at institutions like the Leeds College of Art.

I’m active across many social media platforms, and you can follow ‘aladyinlondon’ for updates. Instagram has added me to its Suggested Users List that highlights the top photographers on Instagram, Esquire has listed me as one of Instagram’s 20 Coolest Travel Photographers, Harper’s Bazaar has featured me as one of its 17 Must-Follow Travel Accounts on Instagram, the Mail Online has featured me as an Instagram account that will inspire you to travel the world, Stylist has listed me as one of the most wanderlust-worthy women to follow on Instagram, and BuzzFeed has named me the top female travel Instagrammer.

Pinterest has also included my content in The Pinterest 100: Top Trends for the Year.

I have been interviewed on the BBC, Peter Greenberg Worldwide Radio, BBC Radio London, the Mail Online, Cleo Magazine in Australia, and other major international media outlets. I have also featured in a book called Read This if You Want to Be Instagram Famous.

In conjunction with the blog, I offer travel planning services for clients and one-on-one blog coaching for bloggers.

Additionally, I teach classes and workshops about blogging and social media at General Assembly and the Guardian, and speak at a variety of events and conferences, including the World Travel Market, the Web Summit, Social Media Week, and Traverse. See my events calendar for upcoming dates.

I also lecture and give talks at universities, including the University of Cambridge, and offer in-house social media training for companies. You can learn more about my speaking and lecturing work on my business website.

Furthermore, I offer eBooks on blogging. They’re a great way to get started and/or learn how to become a successful professional blogger. See my eBooks page for more information.
