I love a good road trip. And while a lot of places in the UK are easily accessible by train, driving allows me to stop and soak up the scenery (there’s a lot of it!). Summer has arrived. London’s weather is cheerfully sunny, and the forecast looks even brighter. I’m spending as much time as I can outdoors, and some of my favorite places to do so are pubs with beer gardens in London.
My favorite thing about returning to a place after a long absence is realizing how much I missed the first time. It’s been 9 years since my last day trip to Winchester, and now that I’m back I’m starting to appreciate its details a lot more. From hidden gardens to riverside walks, there’s so much to love about this city.
