Last week I wrote about my week sailing in the Scottish Hebrides. It was such an amazing trip that I wanted to share more about it today in the form of a Scottish Hebrides video.

This Scottish Hebrides video covers all the places I visited on my sailing trip in Scotland. These include islands like Coll, Lunga, Ulva, Staffa, Iona, and the Isle of Mull.

Scottish Hebrides

I was amazed by how distinct each island was. They all had different atmosphere, unique topography, and character of their own. They’re some of the best under-the-radar places to travel in Scotland.

Coll felt like a remote island a million miles away from civilization, Lunga was rife with adorable puffins and pretty bluebells, and Staffa showed off its basalt columns and cave.

Ulva was full of coastal walking paths and rolling green hills, Iona had rich history and religious significance, and Mull felt so big I almost forgot I was on an island.

The Weather

As you’ll see, my friends and I lucked out with amazing weather for our entire trip.

It was sunny every day and felt like summer the whole time we were in Scotland. Even our skipper said he hadn’t seen that kind of weather in years.

The sunshine made it easy to shoot flattering footage for my Scottish Hebrides video.

But even if the weather hadn’t been as cooperative, these islands are so beautiful they still would have come across looking gorgeous. They’re some of the best islands to visit in Scotland, after all.

The Video

So without further ado, here’s the Scottish Hebrides video I made. I hope you enjoy it and that it inspires you to visit the Scottish islands someday yourself. I had so much fun making it that I decided to go back again next year.
