Today I want to bring you my guide to London Cocktail Week. All across the city, bars and restaurants get creative to showcase their mixology skills. From traditional classics to creative concoctions, bartenders blend their best. As a preview of what’s to come, I’ve been scouring the city for the best cocktail bars in London. Here’s what I’ve found.
London Cocktail Week
London Cocktail Week is an annual event that takes place every October in the UK capital. It’s a celebration of the city’s cocktail scene and the biggest event of its kind in the world.
Bars throughout London go all-out to showcase their best concoctions, and special offers abound. Pop-ups dot the city, and it’s all a lot of fun.
Cocktail Week Highlights
The Megaro Bar by St Pancras station is a hidden gem of a cocktail haven. Located below ground in a low-lit space with vintage cinema decor, its drinks are the products of bartenders focused on unique and original blends.
I once attended a party at The Megaro Bar, and if its lineup for London Cocktail Week is anywhere as good as its artistic drink offerings were then, locals and in-the-know visitors are in for a treat.
Over in Mayfair, some of the famous hotel bars on Park Lane have special cocktail menus just for London Cocktail Week.
I was invited to one to sample the goods, and, well, they were good. Delicious, in fact. They proved that whoever thought of mixing chocolate with cocktails was a genius.
Not far from Mayfair, the Seven Dials area in Covent Garden hosts a number of events for London Cocktail Week.
From pop-up London cocktail bars to live entertainment and cocktail masterclasses, Seven Dials is a buzzing hub for all things mixology during London Cocktail Week.

Yes, I’m being tortured by several hotels sending me their London Cocktail Week specials! We were in the UK in July, so I’m on the mailing lists of several places I’d contacted regarding rooms. It’s making me so sad, I really wish we were still there! Or at least I could pop over for a few days for some cocktails. So many, many thanks for sharing. I don’t feel as bad now. . .
