Today I want to share my Peru travel video with you. Throughout my 10-day trip to Peru, I took a lot of video footage. From the Peruvian Amazon to Machu Picchu, I captured the highlights of the country. I hope my video helps give you an idea of what Peru has to offer travelers.
Peru Travel Video
My Peru travel video has all the best parts of my time visiting the country. I included each destination so you could get a feel for what makes them worth visiting.
I started by visiting the Amazon in Peru, which was a great way to discover the wildlife and natural beauty of the country.
My next stop was Cuzco. I had low expectations, but the city amazed me with its Inca roots, Spanish colonial architecture, and vibrant markets.
From there I did some luxury travel in Machu Picchu. It was amazing to see the famous Inca ruins up close, and to discover Machu Picchu town, which is underrated.
After that my Peru travels took me to the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Peru. I met with a charity in Ollantaytambo and admired the traditional weaving the region is known for.
After that I traveled to the floating islands on Lake Titicaca. It was amazing to see the human-made reed isles and meet the Uros people who created them.
The only part of my trip that’s not in my Peru travel video is my 1 day in Lima, but hopefully the photos in my blog post will give you a feel for what the Peruvian capital is like.

I especially loved the ladies dancing at the train station. Was that in Cuzco or at Aguas Calientes?

Wow…your video is amazing. My finace and I are planning a trip to Peru next year (2013). I read your Tripadvisor posts, how did you access Machu Picchu in the end? Did you book your ticket in adavance? We were thinking of catching the train to Aguas Calientes and staying there overnight. Then maybe busing it to Machu Picchu early in the morning to maximise the day. We don’t have the time to Inca trail it. Any hints and tips or reccomendations would be great.
