Today I want to share my favorite Westfield Stratford City restaurants with you. There are a lot of places to eat in the Westfield Stratford City shopping center in east London, and these are my top picks.
Westfield Stratford City
I arrived at the Westfield Stratford City with a friend last Thursday evening. The first thing that struck me about the shopping mall was the colors.
Every inch of the retail space was filled with bright hues. From the pinks of shops to the neon of so many TV screens, the mall was positively glowing.
As was the sunset behind the nearby London stadium, which was built for the 2012 Olympics. We took a walk outside, where restaurants were buzzing with al fresco diners, and made our way over to the stadium area to watch the sun go down.
Westfield Stratford City Restaurants
Back in the mall, we checked out the culinary highlights. On the top floor were Westfield Stratford City restaurants like Nando’s and Franco Manca, all of which were doing a good trade that evening.
Down several floors were two other foodie areas, one with fast food options, the other offering a myriad of small stalls in an area anchored by the giant Waitrose supermarket.
The latter focused on shops selling everything from cute cupcakes to piping hot pasta.
We walked around both to check out the options, taking in everything from Doughnut Time to Shake Shack and Lola’s Cupcakes.
There was a wide variety on offer, and given it was dinnertime, our taste buds were tempted by the Lebanese food at Comptoir Libanais, the Thai food at Rosa’s, and the burgers at Five Guys.
We settled in and had dinner, happy to be eating out instead of cooking at home.
Speaking of home, we had to get home shortly after dinner. We’d stayed so long that the mall was closing by the time we finished eating and looking at everything.
Restaurants at the Westfield Stratford City
I had gone to check out the Westfield Stratford City restaurants and explore the dining scene, and I left happy with the experience and eager to try more of them on future visits.
I hope you feel the same way if you go there for a meal.

The sneak peek of the Olympics venue excites me! The whole place including the mall will be totally transformed!
I’m getting excited about the Olympics too, bluepop! I didn’t get tickets in the first few rounds, but I’m hoping to get some before the games start next year!
