Five minutes ago I got caught in a sudden flurry of raindrops outside my hotel in Riga, Latvia. Two hours ago it was sunny and gorgeous outside, and as I write this, the clouds are parting and the rain has almost stopped. There’s been a lot of weather in my 3 days in Riga.
Greetings from Tallinn, Estonia! After a ferry ride from Helsinki, I arrived in the city ready to see everything from the old town to the nightlife scene. I’ve covered a lot of ground since then, and today I want to share my Tallinn travel guide with you.
I’m currently on a ferry plowing across the Gulf of Finland. I just spent 2 days in Helsinki, and Tallinn, the capital of Estonia and the gateway to the Baltics, lies a handful of nautical miles ahead of me.
The last time I had my hair and make-up done for a photo shoot was before my high school prom. I went to Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, California to get my face painted at the Laura Mercier counter at Bloomingdale’s, then got caught in horrible traffic on the way to get my hair done. It turns out it was Bill Clinton’s presidential motorcade blocking my way. Go figure.
