Today I found a great website for teaching Americans how to speak British English. I knew there were some words they use that we don’t use and vice versa, but I had no idea how many there were!
A few of my favorite British expressions:
Barmy – crazy or mad (hilarious! I’m definitely going to use this one a lot!)
Bladdered – drunk (makes sense)
Knock up – wake someone up (hmmm…good to know this one. I’ll hopefully avoid any awkward misunderstandings!)
There are more great British quotes and sayings, too. I can’t wait to learn more!

Definitely agree with chuffed 🙂 Should be something negative! I have worked in an Australian bank and the Aussies have crazier words & phrases than these 🙂
I’m glad you agree about chuffed, Shankar! I can imagine the Aussies have some interesting expressions, too!
