Lady on Russian Hill

When I first moved to San Francisco I started working immediately so I never really got to explore a lot of the neighborhoods in the city. On Tuesday we had a rare day of sunshine and warm weather, so I took the opportunity to play tourist in Russian Hill.

On my walk I discovered three new parks (including one right on Hyde St. that has a random metal tepee (!) in it),

read for awhile in a tiny park at the top of the hill,

found some new stairways (San Francisco is famous for them!),

ate a delicious cup of peppermint stick ice cream from Swensen’s,

and took some very touristy pictures to remind me of home when I move to London.

Speaking of London, I also finished getting everything together for my UK visa, so I’m going to send it all in next week once I get my diploma translation in the mail. Can’t wait to get the process started!
